These c-stores are Par Pacific Holdings' first retail assets in the continental United States; and we have more than 90 retail outlets in Hawaii. You’ll be among the first hires under this new organizational structure. 

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, owns, manages and maintains interests in energy and infrastructure businesses. Par Pacific's strategy is to identify, acquire and operate energy and infrastructure companies with attractive competitive positions. We own and operate one of the largest energy infrastructure networks in Hawaii with a 94,000-bpd refinery, a logistics network supplying the major islands of the state and 90 retail locations. The Requirements

To meet the basic qualifications for this role you will be at least 19 years of age for a CSA role in the state of Idaho, and 18 in Washington state (as long as another employee is on-site that is over 21).

To be a strong fit for this opportunity you will have: 
  • Minimum of two years previous management experience with responsibility for financial results
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Valid Driver’s license and transportation
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, stand and walk for long periods
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and a commitment to excellent customer service. 
The ideal candidate for this role will be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including morning, swing and night shift. We have openings for a variety of shifts (including full-time and part-time opportunities), and some overtime may be available. You'll primarily work at one assigned location, but you should be willing and able to cover shifts at other locations to support the needs of the business. 

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Area Manager you will be the primary provider of customer service. You will be responsible for:
  • The Restaurant Manager is the leader of the team who established the tone of the work environment, and the level of customer hospitality. A successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a positive attitude.
  • Key responsibilities include developing Team Members and Shift Leads, conducting new hire orientation and developing the training plan for each new hire. You’re also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans. You must also maintain a clean and safe work area.

Regardless of your shift, part of your duties will be to help ensure that everything for the next shift is prepared and set-up. So that means if you are closing, you will get everything ready for the morning shift to start. 

Your primary job responsibilities will be to:
  • Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Be responsible for all cash, monies, and inventory during shift.
  • Comply with company policies and store procedures, including all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
  • Adopt, participate, and comply with in all safety programs.
  • Perform cleaning duties necessary to maintain site cleanliness inside and out, and basic upkeep and/or cleaning of all equipment on the site. Assist with identifying equipment problems.
  • Be a positive team-player, work cohesively with other employees, contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Perform all duties with minimal supervision, and may be required to work irregular work hours, attend job-related meetings and other duties as assigned.
