The Requirements

To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the HRIS Solution Architect opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field or comparable work experience.
  • SAP Employee Central experience a must
  • 4+ years of experience supporting an SAP HCM and SuccessFactors (SF) landscape, preferably in a multi-site downstream oil & gas and/or a retail environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Business Solution Manager, you will take on a blended role requiring a strong background in both HR and in IT. You'll use this dual expertise as you work closely with the business to understand and clarify business requirements, and to then translate those requirements into a solution design that can be implemented within our ERP landscape in a cost-efficient and scalable manner.

In this position, you'll be responsible for leading business process and information technology initiatives for the Human Capital Management function. This will include:
  • Providing advisory and project management to the HR business leads to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and design and implement appropriate technical solutions.
  • Overseeing the development, standardization, deployment, and management for all systems and technology supporting the HR functions.
  • Maintaining expert knowledge on processes and integration areas with other business functions (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations).

  • Assume responsibility for creating and delivering a cohesive solution across multiple modules of SuccessFactors (SF), SAP Payroll and Benefit (ECP) and the integration of non-SuccessFactors applications (ADP, benefit vendors, third party service providers, other internal business areas).

  • Build and maintain relationships with key users, HRBPs, business personnel, SMEs and project teams.
  • Act as business liaison and project delivery leaders.
  • Serve as resident expert and owner on how applications and technology (web services, interfaces, partner portals, etc.) is leveraged to support front, mid, and back office HR activities.
