The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Vice President, Information Technology opportunity, you will have:- A bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or comparable work experience
- 10+ years of management experience in a similar role, preferably in an energy, manufacturing or retail organization
- Strong leadership capabilities in managing and developing a high performing IT organization, including a technically hands-on, service-oriented approach

Your Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team of about 30, including three direct reports: a Director of Enterprise Applications, Director of Infrastructure & Security, and two business unit leaders. You will be responsible for developing and executing the overall IT strategy and plan for the company by partnering with the executive team to support and advance corporate and operational business objectives. - Manage the day-to-day operations of the information technology department, including directing staff who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions
- Develop a highly motivated team that supports the business strategy by providing superior project execution skills, transparent communication, and value-added advice on emerging technologies and business process best practices
- Align technology vision with business strategy by enabling company processes with the appropriate technologies
- Develop an enterprise application landscape and portfolio that is scalable, adaptable and secure
- Ensure reliability and dependability in a non-stop, high availability model
- Direct the development and execution of enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Define IT performance metrics based on overall business objectives
- Develop an IT transformation playbook for M&A activities
- Ensure information security and compliance with all laws and regulations (PCI, SOX, etc.); ensure protection of all sensitive personnel and financial information
- Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department
- Develop and manage all aspects of IT spend, including budget, contract negotiations, managed service agreements, employee costs, etc.
- Coordinate and drive the business relationships with key internal and significant external partners
- Develop business case justifications and cost / benefit analysis for IT spending initiatives
- Develop a governance model for the organization's infrastructure, application, and information security environments
- Evaluate existing and new technology alternatives and make recommendations for the implementation of new technology to improves operations and customer experience
