POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE |
The Developer Specialist position is a blended role requiring a strong background in developing custom objects (class events, extensions, views, and reports) for Allegro, building seamless integration with 3rd party systems, and managing the software development lifecycle of the Allegro application. The ideal candidate will have a career history in working with various application development packages –.Net Stack, Middleware, BI/DW, SOAP, etc. and have a good understanding of the Oil & Gas trading/risk and downstream business processes. This experience is necessary for the role, which requires working closely with the functional leads to get an understanding of the business requirements, and to translate those requirements into a solution design, which can be implemented within the business enterprise landscape in a cost-efficient and scalable manner. This person will also be responsible for maintaining technical knowledge on processes and integration areas within all impacted business functions (Commercial, Trading and Risk, Operation, and Finance/Accounting). |
